Changing the Layout of a Site
The templates controlling the layout of a site can be edited through Site Builder. Templates are built from a combination of HTML and WebTemplate tags. To edit a template, navigate to the page to change the layout for and click on the ‘Template’ tab. The source of the template for the selected page will be displayed. The template being edited can be changed by using the drop down list above the source for the template. For example, to edit the template controlling the header, footer and menus, change the template to the ‘Holder’ template in the ‘Page Layouts’ section of the drop down list. For more information on templates, click the ‘Documentation’ button in the templates section of Site Builder.
A preview of the website is shown below the source for the template. Saving a template as a draft will refresh the preview, but not change the live site. Clicking ‘Save and Make Live’ will update both the preview and the live site.
